Stats, shopping, and tunes, huge bras challenge |

September 11, 2003 By: Kathy Cole Stats, shopping, and tunes, huge bras challengeSo as you may notice, I am using a tracking device. RetroStats is a cool free site that shows you all kinds of statistical tracking information about your website. It's not as comprehensive as some other stat services, but it is 1) free, and 2) retro and kind of groovy. I have to include a very small graphic on my page, but there aren't any annoying popups or anything like that. In fact, I got to design my own graphic and submit it for approval, and I just found out I can use it, so it's a pretty swell system for me. Eventually I will want something a little more detailed, but this is working out great so far. So, someone please visit my site! I need to see what the traffic looks like! Wow, that sounds so lame and desperate. Yep, that'd be me. Shopping
So I went on an eBay frenzy last night. Hoping to get some particular items, but I ended up losing at the last second. I think I was e-sniped. That stinks. Oh well, it saved me money in the long run. I was in a money-spending mood for a few days. I did a little shopping on Saturday and bought bras. Oh sorry - guys, you might want to stop reading. And girls who wear a 34B, because this is not going to apply or interest you. Okay, so buying bras is one of the most horrible things about having huge boobs. I am serious. It is such a pain. For whatever reason, most bras are built in some other shape than my body, even though I am always trying on the "full figure" ones. I mean, who am I kidding? Full figure is like a gross understatement. I actually strained a muscle in my shoulder hooking and unhooking these huge bras in the dressing room at Lane Bryant (where I had a get $25 off a $75 purchase coupon - pretty sweet!). One of the bras had 5 hooks. Okay, I get it. They are huge and heavy and hard to hold up. But this was like a steel cage or something.
I did manage to come away with 3 bras. 1 beige and sort of padded a little, which looks great under t-shirts. One beige and translucent and a little shimmery, which looks great without a shirt on , and one lavender cotton, very soft and comfy. All with underwire, of course, so comfy is a relative term. What I have learned, and questions I still have.
In this process, I confirmed something that I have long suspected: my right tata is a completely different size than my left. Not sure if it is because I am right-handed so I have more muscle mass on the right? I guess this is fairly common, though it doesn't help when trying to buy a bra that would fit, oh, say, BOTH of my boobelinas. It's not like you can buy them with 2 different cup sizes.
Oh, here's a good question. Why is an AA smaller than an A, but a DD is bigger than a D?? I'm not talking about batteries here.
