Bra Fit Tips — For The Perfect Fit

It is very important to wear a properly fitting bra not only for comfort, but also for your health. A properly fitting bra can alleviate strain on the back and shoulders as well as keep the breast tissue from breaking down. Breast tissue does not repair itself; if not supported properly the breast tissue will break down and lose its firmness.

Considering that seven out of ten women wear wrong size bras, it is essential for every woman to heed to the bra fit tips while selecting bras. These hints and suggestions can go a long way in helping you get rid of the perpetual problem of drooping straps and wrinkled cups.

Bra Fit Tip:

  • The first and most important tip is to replace your bras every six months. Most bras get worn out and do not function as they should after six months.
  • To be well supported and make your bra fit properly you need to make sure all breast tissue is fully in the cup of your bra. A common tip is to bend over, place all tissue in the cup, stand and then align your nipple with the seam of the bra.
  • A tip for the best support and comfort: the back band of your bra should be anchored at or below your shoulder blades.
  • To extend the life and fit of your bras, follow proper care procedures. Please refer to our tips for caring for your intimates.
